Finally, I am going to get a vise for my work bench at home so now I can do AR barrel changes here instead of at work
 . What brand do you all recommend?What I am looking for: -Quality -US MADE -Reasonable price Thanks. |

Can't beat the 6" vise with pipe jaws at Harbor Freight for $35.00
I know it isn't made in the USA, but you won't find one that size for $35.00 anywhere. |

definitly stick with US made. all you can find aroudn here are chinese, and they suck ass. I'd check old rummage sales and estate sales. I'm sure there's a palce you can get brand new us made ones, but most of the time you're gonan ahve to mail order it which will be pricey.

I've got one I bought at Lowes....Yes, its imported. BUT. The quality is pretty good, and the price was right.

Wilton is great quality. If you need a strong dependable vice, it is the way to go. All sizes and prices available. Check on the web, but be aware of shipping costs.

US made (Wilton, I agree!) is...no doubt about it...better, but for what you will be using it for, you will never see or know the difference. HD or Blowes has what you need at a good price. Of course, if you DO pick up something in an early US made vice at a yard sale, then congratulations are definitely in order!
