This is something I do all the time. In the PNW I found the best deals were at Alaska Air.They beat all the web sites by a decent margine. I really hate Priceline.com but they saved me $1200 on 4 tickets to Nassau. With Priceline you have to figure on leaving a day early because they will screw you on your deparure time.I told them a day earlier and they booked me for 11pm. With price line one trick I learned was to haggle several times before giving up or giving in. Most all the web sites (and for some reason I'm drawing a blank on their names) are about the same price. Good luck. Andy

www.orbitz.com They give you all the information you could ever want right up front, no dicking around. Priceline/hotwire are for genuine gamblers that are happy with anything. Most of the populace doesn't match this profile, so they moan and bitch about their $150, 2am ticket.

I have to give a nod of approval to www.priceline.com. Last year, I flew round trip from Phoenix to Toronto for the paltry sum of $285. The next best price I found was through a travel agent for $550.
