For some reason I've waited until today to go to the Cheaper Than Dirt Store. Man, I have been wasting a lot of money at Walmart on ammo. What a great store. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Goin shootin with a friend tomorrow...I fully expect to put a dent in that 300 round South African battle pack that I purchased.

300rds? That's only 10 mags worth. I hope you're taking some other guns so that you can shoot for more than 15 minutes. [;)]

That's kind of like buying just one of the 550rd packs of .22LR. I can burn through twice that in one sitting.

I hear you Pony. I'm taking the mini, the bushy, and about 4 different pistols. Shooting at paper gets a little boring, so I doubt I'll shoot 300rds....famous last words

I have to agree with ColinJay on that one.... You do go through quite a bit of ammo there Legs! Can't wait for a Hun shoot that I can make it up too. Damn bills!

Well.. hopefully if I get the hang of it.. I'll be joining you in all the bump firing. Surprised the barrel is still attached to your AK to tell you the truth. Hopefully be up during the x-mass time so yall can show me the tricks of the trade.

Barrel is still good, but I did bust the trigger
last time at the farm.
I'll be getting the adjustable trigger from red-star soon.
It will bump even better.

75 round drum,
40 and 30 round mags continually emptied.
