Last I checked our leader was not only still alive but he was re-elected.
Last I checked Saddam was hung after being drug out a hole and given a fair trial (which is more than he EVER did for anyone in his country). It appears as though Saddam and his boys lost. |

Oh, believe it. It was fairly easy for communists to "manipulate" liberals back during Cold War I as well. You know they're sitting over there laughing their asses off. One thing you can be sure of is that they have known the Achilles heel of elected forms of government for some time. They know that these governments come and go, they're transient. They also know that if you wait and prod around a little an inordinate number of complete incompetents and traitors will be elected. The Islamofacists are evil, but they're not stupid. They're doing exactly what I would be doing if I was in their shoes. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are worth nearly as much, maybe more, to the enemy than nuclear or biological weapons. |

Yes it was. This perfectly fits the dire predictions that I and others provided should the defeatists regain power in congress. I personally witnessed the same shit 40 years ago...although from my perspective, I had NO idea what was transpiring. (I was deployed to Vietnam in '66 and '68-'69.) The sons and daughters of the useful idiots for Ho and Giap are now the useful idiots for Achmedinijhad, Mooky al Sadr, Assad and Kim. This is a sad day my friends...my worst nightmares are coming true about the future of our great nation. And the DNC reaction to IEDs on American streets will be MORE GUN CONTROL - more government intrusion into our lives.... they don't despise the Patriot Act because it means more .gov oversight, they despise it because Bush is in charge. If they were running the show, they'd be using those warrantless searches on all their domestic enemies, just to settle old scores.
Yes, they are that petty, that mean, and that hypocritical. It happened to most pro-life groups in the 1990's when Janet Reno ran the show. People got audited, 'interviewed' and harrassed for years. Some slapped with RICO lawsuits for the 'crime' of standing on public sidewalks protesting effectively. WHEN THEY DO IT, IT'S OK, just don't do the very same thing for a conservative cause! For liberals and their agenda, sad to say, almost no amount of terrorism (apart from nukes) really affects their lives or their goals - indeed, they help them by giving them excuse to increase power and disarm the population. No, for them, the REAL enemies to their agenda goals are conservative voters and conservative groups - thus McCain-Feingold, and Judicial end runs around legislation and other insanities intended to insulate their agenda from the voters. |

I've never quite understood this logic. Do you really think Al Qaeda is thinking to themselves "Gee, we'd really like to go set off some bombs in Chicago, but we're just too damn busy in Iraq."? Wouldn't the BEST time to attack America be at a time when many of the people who would normally be first responders are off fighting in Iraq? I agree that we are fighting people in Iraq who are bad, and many of them are foreign fighters who came to Iraq to fight the invading Americans, but this doesn't necessarily imply that the bad people we are worried about are too busy or lack resources to plan another attack. It isn't as if these guys aren't patient... |

In an earlier time these traitors would have been tared, feathered, arrested, tried and hung in the town square.
