But don't you feel good knowing all the poor people you are supporting
paying more than your fair share?

I mean, you can't use your policy because the deductible is so high and

after just paying for the policy, you have no money left to pay any

deductible but think of all the illegals who are now sitting in the emergency

room getting theirs for free.

Also, since you are not there taking up space in line, they don't have to wait

in line nearly as long.

Be proud because you give free shit to others.  Nevermind that muzzle at your temple.

This. I can barely afford my premium. I CAN'T afford the deductible, so I really can't go to the doctor for anything. And I'm 57.

Semi-seriously thinking about asking my company for a pay cut so I can get subsidies.

The fact that health insurance policies cost more than most mortgages is just baffling to me. Thankfully, my employer covers most of my policy, but if they didn't it would be around $16-1700 per month starting tomorrow.

$1800 a month here without dental. Dental adds another $150 or so. Family of 5. When I had a note on my house, it was $800 less than the monthly nut for healthcare.

This is not sustainable.

Used to pay $360/month for a fantastic family plan through my old employer  Unfortunately that was only 20% of the total cost of the plan, with my employer covering the other 80%.  Even that was crazy!

Now I'm on my wife's plan through her employer.  Family plan, coverage sucks, much higher deductibles and such...~$1,000/month.

don't worry this is just a stepping stone to full blown 100% government run health care.

soon you won't have to "pay" out of your bank account. There won't be any insurance companies to pay, as it designed to destroy them. and it will.

it will then  be pais via with holding. in your tax bill.

Oh and you won't be able to get care anyway.

$1700/month family of two.  Worse coverage than before the ACA. Could have kept my old doctors for an addition $4k per year (with no other plan changes). $13k OOP

Wife needs a few common gyn procedures. They aren't covered but we get their negotiated rate with the hospital; between $4 and $5K

She also needs a specific type of ultrasound. Called insurer to ask where to get it done that would be covered; they gave her two phone numbers.

First number was a mobile unit that travelled from hood to hood doing the different types of ultrasounds. No where near us., nor anywhere particularly safe to go.

Second number was a company that only did work for corrections facilities.

Why do commits come up with names like Union of Soviet Socialist REPUBLICS, People's REPUBLIC of China, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC of the Congo, Deutch DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC?"

It's new speak, good is evil, bad is good, and good is double plus good.  Propaganda pure and simple, they can't call it what it is so they call it the opposite, the opposite being something that sounds like something people actually want.

It's not affordable, so naturally the commits will call it affordable.  "Triple the price and a quarter the service weather you like it or not care plan" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

I kept my old plan, as did my wife.  But the premiums on those plans are climbing quickly, and we're making less as we get older, so that we're facing the day when the premium will be so expensive that we won't be able to afford rising copays and deductibles.

In essence, we'll have healthcare that we can't afford to use except in dire emergency.  And that's not health

care, it's sick care.

But since Obamacare will never be defunded or repealed, what options do we have?  No insurance at all, or push Obamacare to be replaced with a single payer system, which is the socialists plans all along.  Or, drag it out until we're eligible for Medicare, which is still nearly a decade away for us and is no answer for those that are younger.

They've fucked us and given us almost no way out except single payer or revolution.

Went from $480 a month, to $650 a month, last year it jumped to $1070 a month, and this year it is only $1098 a month.

I guess I should feel privileged that it only jumped up 28 bucks. But my deductible is ridiculous. Also it seems that every Dr. bill  I get they refuse to pay.

Fuck this whole shit sandwich. FBHO. Fuck Pelosi and the other shit heads that voted for it. Fuck Boehner and the assholes who refuse to repeal it. Fuck the Supreme Court when they decided to uphold it. Fuck the freeloading scumbags who wanted it.

It makes me literally sick to my stomach to think of decent people spending $100,000 over 4 years on insurance.
Especially when the FSA and illegal aliens never have to spend a dime on their expensive care.
