What's that hole in the side of the shell casing? Is that where the fuse goes???

The hole in the cartirdge case is to "demil" it, make it a dummy. There are probably one or two more holes in the body and the primer pocket (in the normal place, ie., the base) is empty. |

LOL Ive thought all of you have seen milspec dumby rounds before?
There are 3 hole spaced around the outside. Primer pocket but no flash hole. The case is steel. And no I dont store my crack in there. Hey stealth you bringing the beer this weekend? You know it is the southern Oregon freedom shoot this weekend. I hope we have a big turnout like last time! LOL Just me and you on a empty range! |

Suddenly I know what to do with one of those cheap M16 shear cut barrel stubs on ebay...!
I think I'll pick one up and mill it down to make one of those. Better yet...I'll get two, and turn one into a case gauge for reloading purposes, 'cause I'm cheap! CJ |
