The US equities market has been tanking recently on fears that the Brits would opt out of the EU.

Oddly enough, today the Dow is up almost 200 points;  over 1%.

Is the fix in, or does the market know something that the people at large don't know?

The world will never change.... although I would like nothing more than to see the Brits get their shit together and haul ass out of the EU, call me a cynic, they aren't going anywhere.

The elite have the majority of the people brainwashed into believing that globalism is their only salvation and that a return to nationalism is return to war, racism, xenophobia, isolationism, and poverty.

They need to hurry it up.  The 1-2% of Americans who even know about the vote will lose interest if it takes that long.  We like things to be wrapped up by bed time.

Depends. Do dead people get to vote in the UK too?

Not yet, so the sun continues to set on the British Empire. A once proud nation, sovereign of the seas, a vast empire with forces throughout the world, the jewel of the western world, brought to it's knees, sucking the dick its Brussels based masters, as it begs for permission to wipe its ass.  Losing the final vestiges of anything remotely resembling Britain.  A muslim mayor banning sexy adverts on the trolleys and taxis.  Goodbye Britain.

Same, and in fact they had two polling station venues open (village hall and community center) . Was just one at the last parliamentary elections, I think high turnout was expected.

It's gotten to the point that every vote these days is a referendum, as free people cling desperately to what little power and influence they still wield. The fate and future of the world and possibly humanity is hanging in the balance this year. Come on Britain... now is your time to shine!
