The unfourtunate "food stamp" downtrodden people need their own "grocery line for social welfare ONLY" as well as designated parking in the lot, like the expant mothers parking spots poping up eversoslowly. These folks "should be able to buy butts'n scratch tickets with their stamps too![;)]

FREAKING HATE THAT.
Saturday I'm in the store with my son getting cleats for baseball, the saleswoman and I start chatting about lawns, she is telling me about her two acres of 18th green like lawn and her new truck full of loam for the yard. Then we start talking about summer camps, and she sooo happy that the state pays for her kids to go, because as a divorcee she's entitled to it. I asked her who was paying for the truck and walked away. I was pretty ripshit. I mean, I'm working two jobs to keep my kids in good schools, my wife and I drive 8 year old vehicles, but missy skankwad has a new truck, embedded lawn sprinklers, yada yada yada. Glad I pay my freaking taxes. And they are soooo F'ing SMUG about it, like they're getting over. |

Back in 1990,I sacked groceries at the local market in SW Kansas. The govt moved 1000 Viet refugees to our area and got them jobs at the new IBP plant. They would come in to the store,cash their large checks (made even larger due to not having to pay income tax),pay for their stuff in foodstamps,and watch me carry them to their new TransAms!
See,we all just made the mistake of being born here! My good friend,whenever he sees somone using them,waves and says "You're Welcome!"in a loud voice! |

When Im at the store getting the stuff that was on sale which is usualy enough for me to carry with my hands it seems that every damned line is full of freedom carders with carts packed full of stuff, shrimp, steaks and all kinds of other stuff I usually dont buy because its out of my price range. And never go to the store around the begening of the month its packed then. Only good things about the cards is that it makes it abit harder for them to cash them in and buy crack, alchol, and thier "bling bling". And you dont see the empty food stamp booklets all around the parking lot anymore.
They are famalies who live off our tax dollars they dont want to get any job there is no real reason for them too. They end up living better then us who go and work and they get to sit on their asses and watch TV in their house while eating their food all of which we pay for. While they are doing this we are out busting our asses working trying to make a living which I barely do after taxes rip money out of my check to feed these damned leeches. We need to start doing something about this. |

I don't have a problem with food stamp users if they are in genuine need and they are not used as part of a [b]permanent[/b] subsidy.
I bagged groceries while I was in high school and saw a fair amount of (what was then) food stamp users. Most of them didn't buy extravagent food or drive expensive cars. But, on occasion, you did see what appeared to be abuse of the program and unfortunately, those seemed to be the ones you remember because they really tee you off. |

I cross ocean, poor and broke, Take bus, see employment folk. Nice man treat me good in there, Say I need to see welfare. Welfare say, "You come no more, We send cash right to your door." Welfare checks, they make you wealthy, Medicaid it keep you healthy! By and by, I got plenty money, Thanks to you, American dummy. Write to friends in motherland, Tell them 'come as fast as you can.' They come in turbans and Ford trucks, I buy big house with welfare bucks. They come here, we live together, More welfare checks, it gets better! Fourteen families, they moving in, But neighbor's patience wearing thin. Finally, white guy moves away, Now I buy his house, and then I say, "Find more aliens for house to rent." And in the yard I put a tent. Send for family they just trash, But they, too, draw the welfare cash! Everything is very good, And soon we own the neighborhood. We have hobby -- it's called breeding, Welfare pay for baby feeding. Kids need dentist? Wife need pills? We get free! We got no bills! American crazy! He pay all year, To keep welfare running here. We think America darn good place! Too darn good for the white man race. If they no like us, they can scram, Got lots of room in Pakistan. |

They typically drive very nice cars. If your food was paid for and your housing subsidized you could afford new cars also. They also seem to be typically over weight and have lots of tatoos and piercings, so they seem to have money for snacks and decorations.

once, and its been a while back, one of them tried to buy dog food with their "lone star card" they were told they couldnt put dog food on their card..................so they went right back and got ground hamburger meat instead
recently, like in the past month, the mechanic next door to our shop said he lost his helper............guy called in, said he wasnt coming back to work. why? his welfare application was accepted. now he can sit on his dead ass, do jack shit, and live better than he was. what a FN deal |

Can you feed and support a family of four?? Housing is a bitch to get and I will not get it!! I was waiting in line at the grocery store and struck up a conversation with a nice young white couple in front of me. They were in their mid-20s, obviously intelligent and probably had at least some college.
When it came time to pay, the guy laughs a little bit and says, "Here ya go, here's my ghetto visa card." Yeah, real fuckin funny asshole! I'm glad the taxman robbed me so I could pay for your food! Defending those of public assistance is going to be difficult if as you say, 80-90% don't belong on assistance. If 80-90% of all gun owners were violent gang bangers doing drive-bys I'm afraid I'd be after more gun control measures. Your reaction was over the top. I initial took fight4yourrights attack was directed on the 90%'ers not the 10%'ers. Nobody (in their right mind) is going to claim that there aren't people who deserve assistance - either guys like yourself who worked hard, took an injury, and need a hand or those unable to provide for themselves. About 15 years ago, I decided to finish college. My wife was in veterinary school, and we lived in the college town. There were no jobs there (I had one for awhile sweeping an auto repair shop), so I worked 65 miles away. The cost to drive back and forth meant I wasn't making much, and I finally fell asleep driving home one night and quit the job.
I only lacked 3 semesters from finishing, and just couldn't find a job in town. My wife and I went to see about food stamps so we could eat something besides peanut butter on day old bread and macaroni. They said our only car was worth too much money (it was an old GMC Jimmy). If only I'd sell the car, I could get some food stamps. How the hell could I find another job if I sold the car? We just scraped by and I finished school, anyway. Made me hate the system, though. We would never have been permanent fixtures of the system (we call it "On Check" in Oklahoma). Of course, many are willing to give up independence for a steady check from the Uncle. The system seems designed to breed dependence and a permanent voting block. |

He is not employable and basically is about as far down the totem pole as it gets. I have no problem seeing the $30K me and the wife payed in taxes last year going to people like him. Then, the other side. Where I grew up, the neighborhood went downhill the last 5 years my family lived there. We were surrounded by section 8 housing. We had break-ins, car theft, you name it. The grocery store was filled with food stamp users. But I know for a fact, those lazy fucks had money for malt liquor, pizza delivery, bling-bling and drugs and I am not talking about 1-2 or 10 people I am talking about hundreds. How do I know this, I delivered pizza in the neighborhood, saw these pieces of shit walking from the section 8, to the corner store, trade food stamps for crack or weed, and walk into the corner store to buy colt 45 on sunday at 12:01 pm. I lived it. The system is broken. I don't want to see my brother in law on the street and he won't be because we have the means to take care of him, but not everybody is the same. But I hate seeing a group of freeloading trash jiving down the street with a st. ides in hand and food stamps in the other. Bullshit, I say, these people need to be found out, loaded up in boxcars and dumped on the other side of the texas/mexico border. |
