If Arfcommers were to achieve all of their goals what would it be like to live in America?

Without labor unions or affirmative action would all employees be treated fairly?

Without welfare, food stamps, government funded medical and social aid programs and free education, what would happen to the poor?

Without environmental regulations, OSHA laws and the TSA would we really be safe?

Without medical malpractice and products liability lawsuits what would happen when a doctor killed someone, or when children's toys were found to contain lead paint?

Without NPR, PBS, FCC regulations and broadcasting restrictions could there be any trusted source of information?

What would happen to those who are not Christians? What would happen to the disabled?

Would wages for everyday workers go up or down, with the influx of cheap labor?

Asking for completely thought out responses and let's keep it somewhat clean!

Yes.

Keep the emotion out of it. Some of those things are desirable, but there is no money.

40% of the fed budget has to go.

Look at some other countries that don't have these things and you'll see your answer.

Without environmental regulations, OSHA laws and the TSA would we really be safe? How safe is safe enough? Are we ever really "safe"?

Would you be required to work 80hr weeks without overtime pay or looked over for promotions because race?

Without welfare, food stamps, government funded medical and social aid programs and free education, what would happen to the poor? Why are they poor?
Because right now you have 13 million people that are looking for work but only 3 million jobs open!

Without environmental regulations, OSHA laws and the TSA would we really be safe? How safe is safe enough? Are we ever really "safe"?
How non-safe are we willing to be is a better question?

Without medical malpractice and products liability lawsuits what would happen when a doctor killed someone, or when children's toys were found to contain lead paint? Why do you think the market couldn't take care of this?
How many people would have to die before it did?

Without NPR, PBS, FCC regulations and broadcasting restrictions could there be any trusted source of information? Is there now? No arguement there

They died. What about the veterans, do you want them to die also?

Would wages for everyday workers go up or down, with the influx of cheap labor? Have wages gone down due to influx of illegal immigrant labor?
Yes wages have gone down for the jobs they work!

United States of America 1776––––-1861. It was difficult sometimes but we were better off for it. Some Free People (for the most part). You could move out West if you did not like the lands East of the Mississippi and their politics.

the employer in a capitalistic country will make or break due to how they treat their employees/turnover rate and their product. You don't treat your workers good, they can fuck you in return

Without welfare, food stamps, government funded medical and social aid programs and free education, what would happen to the poor? Why are they poor?
Because right now you have 13 million people that are looking for work but only 3 million jobs open!
I can find a job in a matter of minutes, it matters on how bad I need the money, don't give me that 13 million out of work and unable, if I can find a job in less then 10 minutes so can they

Without environmental regulations, OSHA laws and the TSA would we really be safe? How safe is safe enough? Are we ever really "safe"?
How non-safe are we willing to be is a better question?
Close the borders, shit happens we're human and we have a lot of retarded people. Weed out the people who do wrong, and less likely bad shit will happen

There is something someone can do in order to be productive. My uncle is 57 years old can't have heart surgery anymore because they say it will kill him. He's in bad shape, but he still holds a job.

.Gov's job is to take care of the military. Something I don't mind my taxes going too.

Would wages for everyday workers go up or down, with the influx of cheap labor? Have wages gone down due to influx of illegal immigrant labor?
Yes wages have gone down for the jobs they work!
We need to be competitive. You have China's people working for two dollars an hour, we can't sustain paying people huge salaries and lavish pensions. We'll kill ourselves out of work. That also goes for .Gov

Yes we are. The problem is the socialists answer to that graph is to raise the black bar on the right to meet the left.

Without labor unions or affirmative action would all employees be treated fairly? We don't hate labor unions per se, we just hate forced unionism.

Without welfare, food stamps, government funded medical and social aid programs and free education, what would happen to the poor? They'd either get jobs or emigrate elsewhere.

Without environmental regulations, OSHA laws and the TSA would we really be safe? The functions of OSHA and TSA could be handled internally per the private sector, e.g. the airlines should fund it since it is their business that would suffer if terrorists got on their planes. Only difference is I would give them discrimination lawsuit immunity. Environmental oversight could be handled per nominal litigation, only difference is that the environazis would have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that someone's actions were environmentally unsafe, e.g. no more *precautionary principle*.

Without medical malpractice and products liability lawsuits what would happen when a doctor killed someone, or when children's toys were found to contain lead paint? How about a "loser pays" principle? That would get rid of most frivilous lawsuits. Other than that, there is an old adage of "let the buyer beware" which should be the first objective of product regulation. Consumers should take responsibility for what they buy and how they use said products.

Without NPR, PBS, FCC regulations and broadcasting restrictions could there be any trusted source of information? How can you or anyone of intelligence implicitly trust news media that is funded and thus controlled by the state? You have this one ass-backwards.

What would happen to those who are not Christians? What would happen to the disabled? If what? Not sure where you're going with this one - suffice it to say there is no such thing as "Christian Sharia" as alleged by a certain anti-Christian bigot/troll on this board. All I can say for sure is that if you are not a Christian, you are missing out on some pretty important spiritual intangibles.

Would wages for everyday workers go up or down, with the influx of cheap labor? Influx from where? Are you talking about illegal immigration? Temporary migrant workers? A return to slavery? Or is this a stab at non-union workers in traditional closed shops?

1)Yes, if not they can go to a different job
2)Charities will help out, or people will get motivated to work and not be poor
3)Employees dying isn't a good business model. There's also lawsuits that can make responsible people pay for an negligence.
4)No problems with mal practice lawsuits
5)Uh, yeah
6)Does not compute
7)Depends on the business, industry and business cycle
