So we have this oddball neighbor lady that has popped up on the radar of the wife. Quick background for context: shes married, husband travels a lot, a few kids, seems to be very bored or socially awkward.
Ok, so on to the latest incident, note past incidents have been similar. I'm out doing some yard work in the front today and I see her and her kids milling around, we don't exchange pleasantries and both go about our business. Wife comes out a short time later and is doing random stuff here and there, neighbor lady is sitting on her front porch, wife ducks in to the garage really quick and neighbor lady yells across the street my name. I turn and look, and she invites me to come over later as they're having some sort of 'get together'. No mention/acknowledgement of my wife even though she was just seen outside with me 15 seconds ago. I make something up and go in to there garage, wife overheard it and snidely asks me "so, gonna go?". I laugh and make a joke of it, but the wife doesn't seem amused by the situation. There have been incidents like this in the past where neighbor lady will come over and make small talk about stuff with no purpose, vague, disorganized details, etc. No real point to this story, just seeing where GD takes it. 
Also, no wife pics (job sec and all that), CSB, etc. |
