You shouldnt have to weight that long to get one, ya know with the NICS and all.

Thanks, scarecrow, I needed that, since I am off this weekend and going shooting. I got off my lazy rear end and risked life and limb to wade through my garage and get a counter weight baby scale and weigh them myself.
AR15 H-bar Colt = 8lb 12 oz empty colt Target match competition = 9 lb 2 oz Hooray not much difference. But except fot the ammunition weight which is a lot less, you are getting up into the range of the M1A which I think as 9 1/2 lb. .308 is heavier and I am getting older. Thanks, all I will try to be less lazy in future questions that I could answer myself. ches |
