I've started to eyeball the big tree in the back yard and doing the mental math on how much house it would take out in addition to the back deck. We might sleep in the front bedroom tonight.

It is going to be a long night.  The radar is one big "fuck you."

I am in Madison. It seems like that "bad" part started about 10 minutes ago.

You have a possible tornado just north of Mill town, headed toward Cobbville. If you are near there seek shelter.

It is coming down pretty hard. The wind is certainly gusting but not that hard. The news said this storm has produced 70mph gusts.

How is a tornado and a redneck wife alike?
The both scream when they come then take the trailer and leave.

Nola hope your safe.

I use PKYL on my phone and tablet. PC marked a good site.
Do you have a community shelter nearby? Ask local EMA/FD. I run our shelters and its busy this time of year. Have you checked in to underground shelters, and the state/FEMA rebates? I used FAin shelters for three different shelters in present and past homes. Having a shelter is a comfort blanket.

Around us flooded pretty badly. We escaped with no damage other than some overflowing gutters which I'll have to fully clean out today.

I had to plot a different route out this morning. Parts of the Trace were like a causeway.
