I just don't think it's fair that somebody cannot openly express their views on race in the military. What difference does it make what you think of people of color or if you're a member of the Aryan Nations, how would that affect the ability to get the job done? How can we have such a group of intolerant and ignorant people running the military? And don't give me this crap about other people feeling uncomfortable with living and showering with a racist, they need to be more open and sensitive to other people's views. There are plenty of patriotic Americans out there in the KKK, Black Panthers ect that would like the chance to service but can't. How could we be so oppresive? Nazi Germany allowed racists, and look at them, did that affect their combat readiness? Absloutely not! The Waffen SS had arguably the most effective combat units in Europe.

Since we are now letting group A engage in moderately disruptive behavior we should therefore also let group B blow the fucking doors off.

Repealing DADT is going to have a negative impact on some unit cohesion. What the OP suggests will drive a fucking stake through its heart.
