If I had my choice, I would prefer it be warm enough to go to the beach this winter, rather than snow.

If you want snow, here's a couple of places where you can see more than your share of it.  

Mexico New York.

I doubt it.  If Albuquerque gets snow you may see some in Texas.  But if we don't there is a slim chance you will.  We woke up once so far this winter with about .0005 inches on the ground.  It was melted by about 9AM.

Last year was El Nino.

It caused a lot of snow to be dumped in Texas.

That is unlikely to happen this year.

I live in Longview and just 40 miles north gets snow and ice WAY more than us.
