In Italy it is 00:53 AM.
The TV showed again an interview with an italian woman working at the WTC and escaped from the tragedy, taken the same day.
The middle aged-woman is visibly shocked.
She says she made for the exit in 45 minutes from the moment she and another woman, friend of her, took the decision of reaching the street via the internal ladders. She cries and says she saw corpses, human body parts in the streets, and then cries again when she explains she saw a lot of firemen climbing the same ladder she and others used to regain safety and those firemen where telling people to escape the building, that it was their duty to stay and save the others remanining.
We all know how it ended.
And the children.
The TV also showed a lot of children of very young age asked about the WTC crashes.
A 7 years old boy asks back for an explanation of the act,for he doesn't know the meaning of killing so much people. Another more or less the same age says he would take the place of the victims if that could save them.
A young girl, 5 or 6 years old, tells that maybe it would be better to split the world in two and live each side in peace without the other. Another, 10 years old, says that he thinks it would be right to punish the culprit with a death sentence.
The atmosphere is much different from before here and in all free World.
