Loading some mags with my recently-purchased xm193 and watching.

Opening scene was pretty badass.

I usually think she's kinda cute in her own way, but she was in that movie.

Hitch and his fucking shotgun

Hitch:  "Well, that was over quick"

Cole:  "That's 'cuz everyone knows how to shoot!"

Sleeper movie quote of all time.

Robert Parker wrote a sequel to the book and it was even better than the first.  Hitch is the main character and Cole is regulated to a secondary for the first half of the book.  I hope they make the sequel...

Viggo Mortensen is a gun-hating Hollyweird liberal, but he does act well.

Eight gauge, eh?  Guess I need to rent "Appaloosa"

I still don't understand the point of that scene.

What the hell were they thinking?  Walking into that was damn near suicide.

Not sure, but I had consumed a rather large amount of Maker's Mark by that point of the night so plot points were kinda hazy anyway

They called Hitch out and that's not allowed.  Doesn't matter if it is suicide, living by Cole's code means sometimes you have to be willing to die.

Hitch went along because his code is you stick with your friend and don't walk when things get tough.

And neither one of them had anything better to do.

Horrible movie.  A few good gunfights, but that's it.  Characters were boring and out of place.

So's Ed Harris.  He was on one of the entertainment programs talking about the moving experience he had while attending the Obama inauguration .

I thought the movie wasn't bad, though.

What's everyone think about "Seraphim Falls"?  One of my favorite westerns, despite the totally whacked last 20 mins.

I liked it. The ending isn't that bad when you watch it a second time. Having the last character as a woman turned me off.

That's one movie a lot of people liked that really didn't do much for me. Wasn't terrible, just kind of went by and left me with nothing.

"I don't spose you liked it all that much either..."
