Things I learned about Bloods and Crips

1. It started when black youth form groups to fist fight each other in the streets because they couldn't join Boy Scouts
2. The 1965 Watts riots were a "victory" in the rebellion by destroying their own neighborhoods
3. The families are broken because the fathers are either locked up or dead
4. Black males couldn't get jobs and were being repressed because they had records
5. And last but not least, there must be some kind of invisible force field around L.A. because black people can't move to another city or state....

Im surprised I made it through the whole movie.

Anybody else ever watch this?

Made me

I had a thread on it about a month ago.

Parts of it were pretty interesting, but overall, it was just more liberal/socialist propaganda and lies about "victim status."

Saw it.

Typical PBS "The-White-Man-Is-the-Debil" tripe.

Would watching this make me glad I carry a glock 26 24/7 when I'm awake and next to me while sleeping w/ a 33rd spare magazine in my nightstand?

I watched the whole 1st yr of Gangs on DVD. It looks to me like we the people will have to root them out and kill them all or go live in the wilderness. The gang problem in America is just plain frightening. Watching it made me feel like I can't do anything anymore without fear of being randomly attacked.
