Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Wasn't the media responsible for rallying against Koresh?

If I remember correctly, the local media started mis-quoting Koresh and drew negative attention to him, and THAT was the start of the whole thing.




A guy at work use to joke about my guns and my attitude about the 2nd, calling me David Koresh.  I rented the video and sat with him and his wife to watch it.  He never joked again.  They only knew what the media had fed them.

AFAIK the Koresh thing "started" with the box of dummy grenades that UPS reported.

+1 Then when the media got hold of the story they did what  the media does....
