2 bank robberies posted yesterday here.  And the office of my brother and I got robbed.

 Here is what was happened:

 A quick history: I and my brother are sharing a 2,900 sq. ft office in a shopping center for 10 yrs to present.  He's a dentist with a staff of 4 or 5 employees, and I have 1 secretary. I usually park my car in the back where is empty majority of the time, and usually don't lock the back door because his employees are always taking the thrash out by the end of the day( about 5 or 6 PM).  
 Yesterday, he didn't work, but one of his associate worked instead.
 There are several exam rooms, his offices, my office, storages (total about 10 to 12 total).  My office is located in a corner away from patient traffic so it is good and relatively quiet. There is a hallway that connects from front and back and between this hallway are his exam rooms and storage room and x-ray machine room. And there is always some music going on when we are there.

 Well, yesterday about 5:45pm it happened.
I was done about 5:30pm so my secretary took off.  Got in my office, closed the door and checked out to see how you guys doing in AR15.com.  Felt somewhat tired and decided to turn  off the light, locked my office door and take a quick nap before going home.

 Based on the employees' recollection. Apparently, 3 Asian guys came from the back door, rushed toward the front.  
 Sorry, need to do something really quick.  I'll be back...

 OK,  so the robbers(maybe 2 guns as they recalled)  moved all the employees to the front, took the money from the drawer (about $190.00) and took off to the back door.  It probably took about 2 to 3 mins.  Thanks God , no one got hurt. I didn't know it happened until the employees knocked on my door and woke me up because they saw my car was still there but I was no where in sight.  So basically I missed all the things that was going on during this brief-but-anything-can-happen-robbery.  BTW, my gun was in my office.
 LEO came after they called the police, and wrote up the report.
 Now the event starts me thinking about two scenarios on what to do if it happens again:
1. If I was at the front of the office, it would happened as it happened.
2. If I happen to see them robbing should I confront them or not?
 a. Confront them anyway?
 b. Confront them if someone got hurt?

 I need your opinions and experiences of what is the best way to do in this case.

You could have had a chance to use that SHTF weapon
you carry around with you. Just think of the look
on their face when you would have stepped up with that!
