You'll need a good blade when you're out of ammunition. Check these guys out.

A little spray with Krylon will cover up those blemishes in the finish.

I'm sure they're already in here somewhere.

From the man who brought you 'The Unvieling'.... (It's tape)

Probably snap the first time you hit anything with them.

I think someone here reviewed one once...said they weren't bad. Who knows.

Meh! Nothing a surplus USGI Machete from Ontario Cutlery won;t do at a fraction of the price.

Or better yet...

One of these bad boys - an 8" Panga Machete from El Salvador.

Just ask your favorite machete-wielding Mexican

Forged 5160 spring steel? I seriously doubt they'll snap.

I'd rather duct tape a steak knife to a broom handle.

With all the money I'd save I could buy a case of ammo or a dozen mags.

Meh... that's worse than buying one of those "combat-ready" katanas or broadswords.
I could justify (from a historical standpoint) one of those, but some sort of pseudo-goth sword? No thanks.

Pffft. Stabbing with get you nowhere. You need an instrument that will either cave in the skull or, if you insist on a bladed instrument, something with superior chopping power that will take off limbs and/or heads, thus reducing the combat effectiveness of the Zeds or eliminating them entirely.

My choices are the dadao or Home Depot's latest Zed Smashing demo tool.

And what the hell do they call it.  That looks rather useful and may replace a few tools that I'm carrying in my truck already.  I may need to find one of these.

It's called the "Dead On Annihilator" and it runs about $25, IIRC.

Tough finish, too. I've been using it for some demo work during my remodel and it still looks brand spanking new. Very handy little bastard...with a Stabberthing on the end that goes up!
