The World's Fastest Indian,  Stars Anthony (Hannibal Lecter) Hopkins as an old New Zealander who, in 1967 takes his hand-built 1920 Indian Scout streamliner motorcycle to Bonneville to try to set a land speed record.

Damned fine film.  Absolutely no press, no fanfare. I've never seen an ad for it.  Excellent performance by Hopkins, maybe one of his best.

I've seen one reference somewhere to the movie. Saw the world "Indian" and thought "red-skin" or "resident of the Asian sub-continent". Then realized it was about an old motorcycle.

Hmmm....Anthony Hopkins and Indian motorcycles....it'll be good, or suck horribly. But you're right, there is very little press about the movie. Must be because the critics hate it. That should make it good.
