It can be yours for (ouch) $245,000

Worth it? Not to me, but it does look like a bombproof load of fun.

I got an email from Blackwater a few weeks back where they had one for sale.

Yeah, or a nice little pussy magnet like this Sea Ray Sundancer plus some leftover change for gas.

No live well.
No fish finder.
No room for a cooler full of beer.

I'd pay $245,000 for a boat that flies.

At that price, it better come with a few more toy's than just the boat.

Hell, I'll sell you my Carver for one tenth of what that blow up toy costs for that matter.

Good luck getting rid of any big boat right now without taking a complete bath. We had a guy last week that was turned down for financing on a $200k boat with $100k down. He owns a million dollar home outright and has perfect credit. Shit's getting crazy.

I wonder what it is about that thing that makes it cost $245,000?

I must be missing something.

I used to drive different RHIBs in the Navy, though fun and stable in open ocean and all that, I wouldn't pay that much for one.

I disagree. What are you going to do with a 1/4 million dollar RIB? I'll tell you what I'd do with a 1/4 million dollar 40' cruiser: pack the decks with hot women and kick it around sunny climes while making sure the bed in the master cabin gets put to good use.

I used to race sailboats a lot and there was a guy that had one of those.  The back story is he inherited a large trust fund and wanted to learn how to sail.  Instead of spending the money on lessons he decided to chauffeur around the race officials and watch the boats race.  This was a youth racing circuit as well.  No one was older than 20 and non of the boats were over 17 feet.  Most people thought it was a little weird.
