After firing a friends P99 in 9mm yesterday at steel plates I was amazed at the quickness and accuracy I was able to attain with the pistol. It also had one of the nicest single action trigger pulls I have felt to date. Slick is an understatement for the one he had. Now it seems that I gotta have the Military version in .40 Anyone got one of these or care to relate your shooting experiences with em'?

Got one in 9mm and loving it. If you get one, don't forget to get hi-cap for it. They are rare at the moment.

My wife has been after me to find one of these for her. I would also be interested in finding out more about them.

I've got the military version in .40. I like the gun alot. I think I'd like it more in 9mm, though. I find the .40 recoil to be a bit abusive. But that's just me personally. It's still definitely the best engineered pistol I've ever seen. There's some good info on it here: http://www.saftek.com/firearms/walther.htm and here http://people.ne.mediaone.net/whog/p99/index.htm

Thanks for the info guys. I just bought one off of gunbroker and got a real good deal on it. Saved about $50 over what I could get it for locally. Not cheap pistols it seems. Looking forward to its arrival. Thanks Again.
