Walmart.com updating ammo inventory for your area?

As of 1/20/2013 walmart.com has completely stopped updating their ammo inventory for stores in our area. Prior to that, you could use the "Find in another store" link to see if another store in the area had ammo. Now they aren't updating the status at all. Yet the site updates just fine for non-ammo related products.

Are you seeing the same thing in your area?

No, my WalMart actually had ammo this morning. I bought 2 boxes 9mm and 1 box of ppu 40 sw JHP. Online updating looked ok.

I have noticed it says they have ammo, but they don't have shit. I'm thinking somebody is making it disappear and never hit the shelves because they never add anything unless you have to go there at 6am to notice.

The walmarts here in AZ have been investigating internal issues as most of the ammo has been missing or sold to employees. Last I heard they were trying to prevent employees from purchasing, because they have found the have been buying it up then immediately listing on backpage for a profit.

I scored three 100 ct fed 9mm yesterday at Wallys. Other than that they are dry.

Ours are always from three or four days ago. Talked to two seperate ammo counter guys, they all stock in the morning, so Im fucked since I work.

Every once in a while someone will leave a box or two of .45 for me. Other than that, nothing.

Doesn't seem to be accurate for me either. Not sure if they stopped updating or not.

I got 400rnds of 9mm yesterday at one, but they didn't have any 22lr or 5.56. Drove around to a few more today and they were all out of everything but .243, 30-06, 22mag, and .40. Except one, which also had the bulk packs (250) of .45 for over 200 bucks (i think).

I stopped into my Walmart right before lunch time; I saw that they had 10 x 100ct 9mm...I bought them.

I did notice the price is $2 more than it was a few weeks ago.

No the site does not update just fine for non ammo. It seems to have trouble with high demand items, I was using it to find my Ipad Mini just after Christmas, and the inventory tracking sucks ass. So don't worry, they are not out to get you.

A Walmart near me carries PPU in multiple calibers and it is not listed on Walmart.com for that store. I can't say how accurate the availability is between store and online....
