Just so you know. |

Am I odd that I still prefer Streamlight?
I'm not tier 1 and I wear flip flops to the range |

No. I prefer 4sevens. I don't ever see myself buying a Surefire. Way too expensive. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Surefires are nice, but man does my P2X get hot after prolonged use...
My Kobalt 500 lumen stays much cooler and last much longer with the 3rd CR123 |

Now there's an LED Strion in each vehicle and one more on my nightstand. The bright LED bulb, adjustable light output, and easy recharging blew SF out of the water. |

I noticed that the other day. I picked up some surefire ear pro's that I've been wanting but just didn't want to pay shipping from an online store.

Are they selling weapon lights or just flashlights? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes I only saw two lights and batteries, but I found this post via Google: I can confirm that we are currently starting to receive surefire lights at walmart we havn't set our new mod's yet but we are so far getting Surefire G2X Pro, 6PX Tactical, X300 Ultra, M300 mini scout, and the M3LT combatlight and also 2 pack of the surefire 123A batteries. I work at the sporting goods in a Livingston Texas walmart the price's are pretty decent the m300 mini scout was 347 the M3LT was 367 i believe X300 ultra was 297, G2x pro with 320 lumen only option is 69 and the 6px tactical was going for 89 dollars |
|
I picked up a couple of these to keep in my venicles. I think they are well made ,and extremely bright.

well let me know when they start carrying streamlight.
streamlighg lights are priced the way surefires SHOULD be. I love my streamlights. |

Yeah, but, these are factory seconds/child labor manufactured/damaged...............right? I'ts Wal-Mart, you know they aren't as tactical as the LGS....

I'm wondering when Wal-Mart is going to start selling AR mags?
They sell a wide range of ARs and their accessories, but no mags. Could you imagine M2 PMAGs for $10.88? |

As long as Surefire can hold that line the QC will stay high. Walmart is brutal about getting vendors addicted to the volume then threatening to drop them if they don't drop the cost and give Walmart better terms. Then the long drop in QC begins as the vendor tries to cut corners. |

That's pretty cool. I wish head carry decent knives like the Spyderco Native again.

I noticed this today as well. SOG knives, surefire flashlights, loads of blackhawk gear and even a blackhawk quad rail. Even saw some pepperball guns they were selling, one looked like a Glock and the other an AR. My walmart here has almost turned into a full on gun store. Heck, they even had 9mm today, picked up a box of it just because.

Yep, I've had three. None have ever made it to the six-month mark due to some failure. Something happen on one that heated something up in the lens assembly (bulb) that melted the reflector; like a run-away electrical fault.. I still have one on hand. I'm thinking about filling the box it came in with shit (real shit) and pack the light in that. Mail it to them and ask the company which was worth more: the light or the shit. |

Are Surefire batteries better than lets say Rayovac lithium's?
|
|
I won't put big money in a flashlight. My Fenix E21 has been
and still is a great light for the money. |
|
My walmart sucks and it's billed as the largest super walmart in the nation. They don't have any ARs, only fudd guns and fudd ammo.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Surefire's relationship with Cabelas recently.

I've been considering upgrading my old G2 to LED with rechargables, mostly for fun.
I went to Wal-Mart tonight after reading this thread and picked up a G2X Pro for $68 and a spare pair of SureFire batteries for $4.97 (Local Lowes sells a pair for $5.99). Arfcom strikes again... (at my bank account!! ) ETA: Looks like I could have driven 50 miles, round trip, to get one for $1.50 cheaper (with good guy discount). Thanks Wal-Mart |
