Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Wal-Mart hid all the guns

On the way to the range today I stopped by a Wal-Mart in Opelousas, La. to pick up some 40 S&W. I noticed that they had no guns in the racks. I asked the guy where all the guns were. He said they "secured them" before Hurricane Rita came and they haven't been told to put them back in the stock. Must be gunshy after Katrina... No pun intended... well maybe a little.

I noticed that here in Houston, too.  Every Walmart I've been to did that.  Never bothered asking why though.
