I doubt in Seattle, LA or Chicago there is much demand for Weatherby Vangards or Ruger 10/22's, hell there are 8 Walmarts within 60 miles from where I am at. Might as well make it more streamlined and sell the guns in more central locations.

What part of capitalism is it exactly that makes you livid?


A store is deciding to drop a product because there isn't sufficient demand. If there IS demand, small gun shops will open again, and if there isn't demand, then gun owners have nobody to blame but themselves for not buying their guns at WalMart.
