First glance was "jeez that seems high"
Then i saw the 10 not 15. |
|
I'm really not up to speed on such things, but that seems like a smokin' deal!
Now get out and shoot it and give us a range report! |

Good buy! Oh, and in before the DPMS haters. if it shoots reliably, why should anyone care? |

I bought a armalite ar-10 here for $1000 two years ago. It was used but in very good shape. I think you got a pretty decent deal.
|
|
That's a helluva deal for a 308 AR. With a couple hundred bucks into that thing it'll be as good as any other high end 308 AR.

$897 is the correct price, and this looks like a pretty nice rifle. My first .308 in the AR platform, we'll be heading out to the range in the morning!

At that price, I'd own a .308 AR.
I really need to catch up... What is the break down on mag pattern... What makes use which mags? Is there a "winner" yet for mag pattern?.. I.e. which can use the Magpul mags? |
|
That is a good price.. Hope it works better that the one I bought a while back.

Does it have a dust cover? Or is it the DPMS versions of the Bushy ORC?

Pmags fixed it I've had feed problems with DPMS 4rd mags, CProducts 5rd. I haven't tried anything else. I bout the 5 round limiter for 20rd PMAGS, not realizing it was 20rd 5.56 PMAGs. I've yet to try 20 rounders of any kind, just because I''m pretty much restricted at the range, and in the field (hunting). I wish/hope Magpul has something in the works for the 7.62 PMAGs. I know I can stick a block of wood in their, but an engineered solution would be nice. |

Yep, just picked this up from WallyWorld...flat top upper, 2 mags, 18" barrel...Pretty happy about this! Bryan http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee85/biobry/20120414_180530.jpg What's your AO? The Walmarts in my area took all the guns out of our stores. |
|
Seeing as how I just spent over $1100 for pretty much the same model a couple days ago, I'd say you got a good deal
|
|
Glad to see Walmart is not shying away from selling black rifles.

Wow, nice score!
My local Walmart stopped selling guns shortly after 9/11. The one 20 minutes up the road still sells them but I haven't seen any black rifles there yet. |

I personally would not but one of their complete 5.56 guns, they just don't look right to me, but the lowers are GTG. That .308 is intriguing. |
