http://www.gunboards.com/forums/UltraBoard.cgi?action=Read&BID=20&TID=14667&P=1&SID=1177393 If you are into firearms history, check out this rifle found in a dusty corner of a gunshop somewhere. It is supposed to be a Savage prototype of a 303 British Infantry rifle made to try to win a contract.

Very interesting rifle. It would not surprise me if it were real though. I have a WWII Enfield No.4 Mk something that was made by Savage. On the left side of the receiver it is plainly marked- U.S. Property. Savage arms etc... Very nice rifle, I would bet that Savage made a large number of rifles for the Brits.
