Im considering a move to MO and wanted some info on missiouri NFA.
I think I know the basics:

1) You need C & R license to own transerable NFA

2) No suppressors or DD's right?

My questions are

1) is this C & R license a federal form 7 type FFL?  I dont have any plans on running a storefront gun business. Can I still get that C & R

2) What are peoples expierences with getting the CLEO sign off's after you get the C & R?  I'm looking at Jackson County (Kansas City)

thanks

[red]Yes, you need some type of FFL.  A C&R works just fine for this.[/red]

[red]I know we can't have suppressors.  I thought we could have DD's...anyone have more info on this?[/red]

[red]The C&R is a collectors license for basically old type guns on the ATF C&R list.  It is NOT a business license.  You can NOT run a business with it.  Missouri just requires you to have some type of FFL to get a NFA item.  The C&R is the cheap and easy way to go.  You are NOT limited to C&R NFA items.  You can still purchase a transerable MG[/red]

[red]I have no idea about Jackson County.  I know that I got mine signed in Boone County.[/red]

C&R license (Type 03 FFL) is not a retail license, and has its own special application - Form 7CR
