Blackhawk Swift universal 3-point

I think I followed the instruction correctly, but I cant for the life of me understand how this works. When I slip into the two piece part of the sling I can barley shoulder the damn thing. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to readjust some of the attachment points? If I adjust the cam I can get it to sort of hang in a low ready but its awkward as hell.

I have reviewed the different carry options that a 3 point allows you and so far all this one allows is the, "I'm fucking stuck, and if I had to shoot something I cant" option.

I consider myself a pretty well rounded and mechanically inclined person. But this one has me lost.

Here is a higher res pic so you can see if I fucked this up or not.

If this sling flat out sucks any other recommendations?

Thanks yall

Yes, don't use a 3 point sling on a pump action shotgun.

Use a single point sling instead

See that tan buckle by the buttstock?  bring it forward, i.e. toward the muzzle,  about a foot or so.  More, if necessary.
