ok, I have swapped uppers before, replace gas tubes, barrels.....

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE FUCK THIS DOES...why the fuck would you attempt to remove and install a gas tube without removing the hand guards???????????????????

is this really needed in any tool box?

All I could figure would be if it was a free floating handguard and you didn't want to remove it. But I have no idea what the $6.99 piece of delrin would do about that.

I've just always taken off the gas block with the tube in it for things like that.
