I just called some friends who live in Slidell LA on the cell. I knew they would not be home. They are on the way to Tallahasse Florida. I said "They have hurracaines in Florida also." She said "Not this one, this one is gonna go right over my house with 150 mile an hour wind"

They will be fine but they are afraid of what thier house will look like when they get back.

Well, of course they are jackasses to us, but remember, we are the uptight, racist republicans who only care about the rich. We are survivalists, end of story. Most people don't give a shit.

Soon you will see what utter chaos looks like. When the population of New Orleans has to do without electricity, food and water for maybe a month there will be looting worthy of Viking praise. The sort of people that are still in the city are the exact sort that will make you kill them over your sack of beans and cans of spam. Snakes and alligators will inundate the city, foul water and mosquitoes will spread disease.

Stay away.

If you are talking about people from the coast.....

We dont' go screaming like little sissies when the news tells us to.

We hunker down, and, greet the next looter with a gun barrel.

I mean, I guess YOU trust the news media to give you your info...We don't.

I live inland TX now, but, I rode out 3 hurricanes in NC.

I ask you? Would you run? Leave you home to the looters?

Hm?

Those people know what they are doing.

Tell ya what...

Take that CO based judgement and use it on somthing you know about.

I could care less about these people out making fools of themselves, but here is why I get pissed at them:

Joe Jackass decides, I'm gonna have a good time during the storm, I'm gonna surf drink and fuck.
Gina Jackass watches Joe Jackass wash up on shore from a window inside of a bar.
Gina Jackass calls 911 during a 175mph storm, demanding they come save her waste of oxygen, and demands an upstanding EMT or police officer risks his own VALUABLE life for theirs when it would obviously be suicide.
Mr. Dispatcher explains that it is a risk the department cannot take.
Storm Ends, we are minus Joe Jackass.
Gina gets her trailer back, but makes friends with a lawyer.
Gina Jackass and Mr. Lawexplotingprick Esq, sue the county.
Supreme Court Justice Souter is the judge in the case because he pulled some strings at another chance to legislate from the bench, and since he comes from the same gene pool as Gina Jackass, she wins 8.4 million, which is 64 times more than Joes Seven Eleven life insurance policy.

Me, John Q. Public takes yet another hit in my paycheck for the Jackass family's stupidity.

Death toll i expect will be several huindreds if not thousands!

1. City below sea level!

2. People too damn dumb to move out of their when told to evacuate while there was still time!

I just don't see the outcome as good at all!

I just hope and pray no emergency rescue personel lose their lives trying to rescue any of the Able bodied dipshits who were too stupid or prideful to leave.

Goon boss, it just ridin out the storm, THEY ARE GOING TO FLOOD! They are 5 to 10 feet below sea levwel as it is, it's not a question of if they will flood, it is a matter of HOW BAD they will flood!!

There ain't going to be anything left to loot after 160MPH+ winds open houses up like Paper mache and the flood waters have it submerged for several weeks.

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

I've ridden out storm after storm..I was on disaster relief last year during Florida's last storm season. That makes three more storms I rode out.

There's not one force, man or nature made that will make me run.

Ok..Check that..The city just annexed us, and, I will run as soon as my house sells, but, that's hardly a storm.

I guess we Puerto Ricans learned out lessons back from 1928. Virtually ALL houses there are made of reinforced concrete and cinder blocks. I rode three major hurricanes, including Hugo and David, between 1978 and 1984 in the comfort of my tougher than a brick shithouse home.

I fail to see why fools continue to rebuild stick homes.

Most of the shrimpers in NC took thier boats the hell outta there by the time the storms hit up our way.

That's surprising. A captain wold've moved his boat outta there.

But...You know...When that's all you have, you defend it and do whatyou can.

I guess I understand it.

Try being a commecial fisherman. They are a differnet breed.

I guess we can all sit on high and adjudicate thier decisions, but....

We're not in thier shoes, either.

Oh, good...OK chimes in.

Well, none actually. All mine has been in the +1-+5 variety.

'Cause that makes a differnence in a cat 5 storm..

Oh...Yeah..It's ABSOLUTLY going to hit in NO.

No QUESTION...

'Cause it's a hurricane, and, it couldn't deviate.

Everyone here wonders about a SHTF scenerio...Welcome to it.

I guess everyone would rather run away.

Untill you can change the course of mother nature, I can only see "toughing it out" and "standing my ground" as a loosing proposition. I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you.

I commend you and you bravery. I guess I'm a human being of lesser courage.

I've been watching FOX and I cannot believe that people are hanging out and having a grand ole time when the S is getting ready to HTF.

I understand that not everyone can evac but those that choose to stay are fools.

By this time tommorrow on the news (every channel), their bodies will be floating down Bourbon street all mangled and twisted up like a pretzel. I guess I'm supposed to feel sorry for them. But I won't. I'll be called heartless. So be it. I'll save my sympathy for the deserving folk

I'd guess that won't happen.

We'll see though.

Never can tell.

Blow me. I lived in Florida for 12 years and NC for another 11. I know damn well what it is like to be inside a storm.......and I think they are foolish for putting their stuff before their lives.

After seeing your other posts......YOU SIR are an Idiot.

I live in tornado country. Tornados scare me. Hurricanes don't.

Consider this a slow moving F3 tornado that's 30 miles wide.

That's fine.

I don't depend on you to tell me what's right and wrong.

I have stood fast with the families property through more than a few hurricanes.

I don't care if you think it's wrong or right.

Being called an idiot by you REALLY makes me want to just bust down in tears.

I thought I'd just stick up for people that don't run in terror to the Superdome, or wherever.

Running away is an individual's buisness.

If you want to run, that's fine.

If somone else doesn't, that's fine too.

Simple as that.

Is this what happens when the sheep meet Darwin?

If you are talking about people from the coast.....

We dont' go screaming like little sissies when the news tells us to.

We hunker down, and, greet the next looter with a gun barrel.

I mean, I guess YOU trust the news media to give you your info...We don't.

I live inland TX now, but, I rode out 3 hurricanes in NC.

I ask you? Would you run? Leave you home to the looters?

Hm?

Those people know what they are doing.

Hey, at least plant a brain in your head before bashing me.

These other kind posters did.

"Douche" and "Pussy hurt" are all pretty pedestrian insults.

You gotta do better than that.
