This article captures the essence of Obama's agenda, one of the best I've ever seen.
......Why is a European politician urging America to avoid Europeanization? As a Briton, I see the American republic as a repository of our traditional freedoms. The doctrines rooted in the common law, in the Magna Carta, and in the Bill of Rights found their fullest and most sublime expression in the old courthouse of Philadelphia. Britain, as a result of its unhappy membership in the European Union, has now surrendered a large part of its birthright. But our freedoms live on in America....... More.... http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703559604576176620582972608.html . |

He's one of the few members of the EU parliament with brains and common sense
|

Very well put.
That's a message that would win us the White House back, but folks here would call it RINO. |

Knew it'd be good the moment I saw "Daniel Hannan." Didn't disappoint.

It's sad, but true. Democrats ALWAYS point to Europe as an example that America should follow.
Fuck that shit. Europe has ALL KINDS of problems. Look how they all drive those little ass cars. They don't do that for their comfort. They have all had much of a stagnant economy for decades. Obama even wants to try and cram it down our throats by buying REALLY expensive high speed rail. Which will just end up having low ticket sales. The only place where public transportation by rail makes any sense is places like Chicago, New York City, Washington DC, Los Angeles, ect ect. Anywhere else is a big waste of time and money. |

Excellent read. Thanks.
Also - something that the left in the US never talks about is why there is a much, much higher incidence of homegrown terrorism in Europe than in the US. In the States you have a few nuts like McVeigh or the Unabomber as well as your Islamic crazies, who I don't consider indigenous as they derive inspiration, ideology and support from elsewhere, but you don't have any real deep-rooted indigenous movements or networks like you do in Europe with the PIRA, ETA, or the Red Brigades. We have various basement-dwelling white supremacists and the ELF but that's about it. Nobody who blows up police stations or shoots cops on a regular basis. I could count homegrown terrorist incidents in the US from the last 20 years on one hand. I would probably need several pages to do the same for Western Europe. |

This is also worth watching: And we might as well get this classic bit of UKIP rhetoric out of the way: Farage later apologized to bank clerks. Seriously. |

The key point is that the EU was originally set up as a trade organisation, to help build trade links in post war europe between countries that had previously been knocking seven bells out of oneanother.
However the EU Parliament is the retarded bastard son of what was an honourable and decent organisation. It has it's foundations in socialism and has used every socialist Govt elected within Europe to further it's own cause. The UK population for the most part despise everything the European Parliament stands for. Our powers of self governance have been under attack from day one and the insidious chipping away at our sovereignty and erosion of independance has been exacerbated by 13 years of Labour Govt. The European Parliament is Creeping Death and I fucking hate it. If it disappered tomorrow in a radioactive fireball I would not bat an eyelid. It has done nothing but become a self serving preohecy at the expence of every man woman and child in the contributor countries in the EU, and viewed as a Robin Hood for the receiving countries. The last time these fuckers tried to redistribute power and wealth in Europe we ended up in World War II. Socialist Cunts. |

We are going to drain their blood in a sustainable manner and use it as an antidote for anyone who catches "stupid socialist disease" If we can draw any excess with their permission we can send it over |

America is the last chance for freedom.
WE, are the last chance for freedom. If it dies here, it is finished. Those who want a socialist nanny state should go somehwere that already exists. If your idea of freedom is child butchery, taking it up the ass from a goat or stealing the hard earned wages of others then you are not even really and American and Cuba or Venezuela are the place for you. IOWs, GTFO. Actually, it will be more fun to throw you all the fuck out. |

Europe is circling the drain of a demographic event horizon. Europe's 40 year old population will peak this year and decline steeply as far as the eye can see. Economic activity strongly tracks the 40 yo population. Our 40yo population peaked in 2006 (with our housing bubble), and will decline slightly until ~2015, when it will begin upward again, Our 40yo population also declined from 1968 to 1980, with associated crappy economic times. Japan's peaked in 1991, the same time as it's bubble popped. China will peak in 2012, and strongly decline thereafter as well.

Yeah, and then they got the shit kicked out of them by some dudes who managed to think outside the box... TXL Agreed. The red is more insightful than many realize. Ronald Reagan predicted back in the 1960's exactly what would happen, and couldn't stop it. This man is saying these factual things, and yet there will be no stopping it. Aristophanes, the Sumerians, the Romans, and even the Bible knew and predicted what happen and yet no one can stop it now. Once a society becomes THIS female dominated (as the USA) there is no stopping the agenda. The 19th Amendment sealed our fate. There is no other explanation how a society as dominantly conservative and Christian can be such a Welfare state, abortion state, Obamacare state, gays-in-combat state, yada yada. Marxism marches on... |
