Hello Everyone!  iNuhBaDNayburhood here...  LITERALLY, but not for long!

You see, Management of my building is raising rent to outrageous prices in order to kick out the "GHETTO" people who live here...  Unfortunately for me, I can't afford the new rent either, as I'm just a student.  That doesn't matter though, I now have a 1 BR apartment lined up for me starting in the Middle of May!  I will be SO HAPPY to move out of this ghetto hood!  Some of you do, some of you do not know of how shitty of a place that I live in, but just as a hint:

Here's the neighboring "Ghetto In The Sky", AKA "The Crack Stacks" where over 12,000 Somali people ran to in the 1990's  You can get a 2 BR apartment to cram 4 of your friends in one of these LUXURY apartments for only $440/month!  (If you like living with roaches & rats too):

Soon I will not have to deal with BUMS & DRUG DEALERS in my new building either! (shown is a bum (rathr well dressed for a bum) trying to beg for $5.37 for Bus fare... [bus costs $1.25]):

Another good thing I'll be leaving behind is the fact that police & state troopers have to stay parked right outside the building EVERY DAY/NIGHT!

Oooh!  Oooh!  Another good thing to leave behind: The fact that after leaving your car parked for 2 nights not in a secured garage, this happens:

YES!  I will be so happy to leave this sh!thole in which I reside.  I will move to East River Road area, along the Missississippi River!

Also, I will sometime in the next 2 months be changing my name to "iNuhNotSoBadNayburhood" (If it's not too long of a name).

Thank you for all of your great advice on how to keep my apartment from being one of the many broken into this past year!  Your advice on bracing sliding screen doors, and locking mechanisms/warning devices was great!

In more recent news a resident & I helped arrest a man (first thought to be a bum), who slept every night in the back stair wells.  After the police arrested him, it turns out he had warrants out for his arrest for beating 2 people nearly to death, and he was just hiding in our building.

Why don't you move to Texas ?

Yeah, I know, I know... I shouldn't have moved in.  But in the past year it has gotten A LOT worse.  Not only is there usually a squad car parked outside at almost all times of day, but they also MOVED A MINNEAPOLIS OFFICER INTO THE BUILDING!  He LIVES here now!  The unfortunate part is that he doesn't patrol around very often...  Oh NO!  NOT A SIGN!

No, the car pictured in the first part was not my car.  My automobile is safely in rural MN at my parent's place (my mom's truck).  The photos shown here are all residents' vehicles who don't pay extra for semi-secured garage parking.

This car was hit over a month ago, but the owner is cheap & cannot afford a new window:

So, not only is there an issue with that, but due to stupidity, this building has a rat problem too...  You see, I don't know if any of you will remember, but a long time ago, I posted about almost getting mugged taking my garbage out...  Well, I talked with Management about this, and they decided to move the dumpster from the back of the building, into the semi-secured parking garage, so residents wouldn't have to leave the pseudo-secured area of the building to take out trash.

Many fliers/documents, etc., have been posted all over, and slid under every door, but these residents must not be able to read, because they STILL THROW TRASH OUTSIDE, even though there IS NOT DUMPSTER THERE ANYMORE!  (Where the old dumpster USED to be): [rolleyes]

SOME PEOPLE STILL did not figure out where the garbage is supposed to go, and they've just been pitching it off their decks to the ground below...  Then they wonder why the first floor residents & people are complaining about a newfound RAT PROBLEM! (Below & to the left of my balcony): [rolleyes]

And, YES...  I do live in the "Twin SHITTIES", 3 blocks from downtown Minneapolis zoning area.  [:D]

Sorry for venting my frustrations on all of you, but I just get so sick of this place...  I would move to the suburbs, but I have no vehicle here to get back to school every day.  Plus cost of living is much more out there...  [:(]  Oh well, I'll have to see how things are going to go with my new apartment...

No ammount of education is worth living in a place like that, son.

I spent a couple of months living in a boarding house that some gangbanger was selling crack out of. I got out of there as soon as I could, left the area since I couldn't afford any thing better in that area.

I've got some beautiful rental units near a good State University of New York, be glad to give you a deal. [:D] A couple even have the patented Aimless Big 45 security system. I can't imagine any college is worth 4 + years of that.

Jesus, and my psycho ex-girlfriend wondered why I don't like the city.  I have worked at too many locations just like those apt buildings - as an unarmed security guard.  It didn't take me very long to decide I better stop if I didn't want to end up dead - and I knew it would be very soon.
City people are some other kinda alien entirely.
