More and more , it seems that I cannot view certain video's like the ones linked here on ARFCOM.

I keep getting the message : " Class not registered"

If the link says its from Putfiles.com....forget it, I know it won't play.
My computer is a "ye olde" Windows 98SE....and its running Windows Media Player 9. I've reloaded WMV 9 from Windows Update website, along with all the update patches but still no go.

I had Quicktime also on this computer (before the crash/reboot) but now all I can find is the Quicktime for XP.

Ugh, computers....why couldn't they just leave Windows 3.11 alone.

Download and install the k-lite codec pack, full version. It will have EVERYTHING you need to play videos. I have installed it on windows 98 before, worked fine for me.
