Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - WIll older Canon Lenses fit newer cameras?

I inherited a 6-8 year old 35mm Canon EOS Rebel G.. Will the lenses from this camera work on the newer DSLR Canon Cameras? One is a smaller Canon brand the other is a Quantaray brand....any ideas?

The Canon lens should be fine; however the other most likely will give you an error code.  The only way I am aware of is to try it unless you find something on the net regarding the compatibility of that particular lens.  Good luck.
