Cuba 1 piece. Sample, full plastic handguard, fluted barrel.
Mexico 1 piece. Sample Panama 1 piece. Sample Venezuela 4-6 pieces. Samples Nicaragua 7500 pieces. Rifles were adopted for use and ordered but never delivered. Prototype blew in an endurance test. Guatemala 200-500. For the Military Cadet Academy. Finland 6-10 pieces. Special order in 7.62x39. Sudan 1500-1800 pieces. "Cuba" type with full plastic handguard. Portugal 800-1000 pieces. "NATO" model. Developed for the S-Africa trials. Half handguard with perforated metal front end, latched amd telescopic cocking handle and redesigned trigger group. Enough? |

Tuukka, You'll get my everlasting admiration for studying the book of books for the AR15 series. AI was located in the same town I live in, hard to imagine that one of world most used weapon systems got some improvements in my little country. |

Most countries dont make their own. Look at all the AKs, G3s and FALs out there.
The countries with their own designs and not purchased ones. Many make copies and shouldn't count: US Korea Singapore Russia England Germany Austria Switzerland France Israel Italy Spain Sweden Im sure there are others, anymore ideas? |

Hi guys,
That's fast! Anyway, Tuuka, the Cristobal is a 30m1 carbine rifle, but not from Cuba but from the Dominican Republic. The rifle in the pic is a Armenian K-3 in 5.45x39. Used only locally. Purely a Kalash in bullpup. I'll take a shot at the MPiKMS, that's an former DDR AKM clone with synthetic stocks. Cheers, RG.nl |
