Prince Harry had a cap similar to this given to him by one our SF guys and I just like what it says:

Ordered one in Coyote Brown

and one in OD.

The only thing that I can nitpick about it though. Is civilians who never shot at anybody, much less served, are kind of false advertising.

"Bad things to bad people" was the  5th GRP motto under then Col. Mulholland during the 2001/2002 time frame.

I have a hat like that....and I'm no poser. It was a gift from a SEAL buddy of mine.

I do enjoy, however, your seeming willingness to throw your fellow gun enthusiasts under the bus for daring to wear a certain hat or shirt you apparently believe they aren't worthy of.

Stay frosty, bro.

I'm pretty sure anyone who served in the U.S. military can wear the hat.  It just looks odd for anyone else.  I'm a doc so I should get one that says "We do bad things to good people by accident sometimes."

So if you wear a sports jersey but you don't play for that team you are a poser too?  Guess you can't want to support your team, sports or military.

What about those that were in the service in a non-combat role?  Do they have to wear one that says "I cooked the breakfast of the guys who do bad things to bad people"?

Just be happy someone considers you guys to be "the winning team" and wants to support ya'll.

(Of course if you wear it and fraudulently claim you were in fact doing the bad things yourself, then my fuck be upon you.)

I agree I would feel a bit of a poser wearing this, but at the same time do feel qualified.  As taxpayers, we have all pooled money to buy the equipment and train the operators.  Some of us are involved in designing and building that equipment.  So, I'll leave you with a message from one of our northern neighbors.

It doesnt have a branch insignia on it, it has an American flag. I would think any American wanting to do bad things to bad people or support those Americans that do, would be qualified to wear it.

Kinda like me wearing a Braves hat. I didnt play baseball past college, but, I sure support them.

This hat at least shows which team you support..............uh America.

I also never served, but, my dad, cousin and past family members all the way back to the Revolutionary war served. Arent I supporting them? or to the random young military young man or woman that I pay for their McDonalds or just shake their hand and thank them for their service?

Good looking hat too.

and thank all of you for your service

in fact my avatar is both of my great great great uncles units during the Civil War. Im proud of my family and their service........my great great great grandpa didnt fight in the Civil War, he just made guns for them.
