Just a heads up to anyone who likes the Aliens or Predator franchises:

It's fucking horrible. I started fast forwarding about 5 minutes in. I wanted to see the Predator vs. Alien part.

Holy shit is this movie dark. Not dark as in scary/gore...as in I CAN'T SEE SHIT.

I thought something was wrong with my DLP projector. Like the lightbulb had burned out or was at 10%.

You seriously cannot make out WTF you're seeing. It's a joke.

I never saw AVP Requiem in theatres so I picked up the two disc set when it first came out. I saw the first one and wasn't impressed but remember hearing that Requiem was supposed to be awesome. Unfortunately, the crappy first AVP was about 100x better than that POS.

I think you guys are smoking some serious crack, it was way better than the first IMO. I half way enjoyed it. Needed some action w/ the Striker smokin' some aliens though.

You can't adjust the pic on your set?

I have a 50in Panasonic Plasma and the adjustments for pic quality are sweet.

I had no problem viewing AVP...

yup! this movie was horrible.

Negatives:
*It's like they forgot to take off the lens cap during filiming in some parts.
*Acting sucked
*I thought we'd see the blonde's hoo-hoos, that didn't happen. What kinda rated-R movie is this!!!
*who gave the lead alien spawning abilities!
*first might be actually better!

Pros
*nuked the site from orbit to be sure
*saw a predator and a couple of aliens
*loved how they used sound clips from "aliens" ex. alien shrill and the motion detector in background of plane
*pretty violent!

This one was a rental at best.

Dunno what kind of projector/TV you guys are using, but I could see everything just fine. ::shrug::

I didn't really think the movie was that great (nor was the first), but if you want to see blood and violence and a semi-crappy (typical) SCIFI plot, it's going to fill that role.
