...and why?

With all the bashing going around I thought we should show thanks for the "good" moderators.

My vote goes to [b]TREETOP[/b], he's been around for a long time and knows us, he is mature (for the most part), doesn't take sh!t personnally, knows what he is talking about and he usually is pretty fair overall.

So that's my vote...what about yours??

I'll have to agree on Treetop. He's quite laid back. Slasher, on the other hand, is the fastest lock in the west.

Let's not forget, that all of us being human are subject to emotions and mistakes. The moderators do their best at what they are supposed to do. Are their mistakes made sometimes, yes. But they are often atoned for, Brouhaha-ette's post was unlocked. So no big deal. Why do we have to keep harping on the moderators. I'm sure they all try their best, they don't just lock posts for grins and giggles.

I would like to add, that is we were all able to behave in a manner that followed board we would not need moderators. But being humans ourselves, we are subject to the same emotions and mistakes as are the moderators. So we have them. I don't see why it is such a big deal.

I'm not trying to PC but I like all of the Mods. Everyone has their own approach and ideas, that is what makes this board fun to be on. I know that there is no way to please everyone, but I think they do a damn good job at keeping the peace.

I realize that I am a new poster but I had been lurking for a bit before I joined. The mods here are all doing a great job, I have seen them post warnings before locking down a thread which is more than the majority of boards do.

Presently, only Treetop!

Reason is quite simple, he is pretty much not into this powertrip thing like.....

But most favorite all-time is Ed Sr. and a close second is DonR. I do not know but there is something in age that makes a man more patient and reasonable.

Actually my purpose of this thread was to show that we have more good mods here than bad. I have always stood behind the operators of this site for the most part, but a few people I have had problems with. Basically I think all-in-all we are a pretty decent group of people---and thats the point of this thread.

Except imbroglio that is---that boy just ain't right[;)]

Okay, maybe I am as stupid as I look. Thanks for 'xplainin'. Now that I "get" it I vote for everybody. It's a bitch of a job that, as far as I know, is payless, thankless, tireless, difficult to the point of impossible, and overall a pain in the ass. I like/respect all of them. I second an "honorable mention" for Garandman. I admire him for many reasons, not the least of which is his ability to stick by his convictions, a trait sorely lacking in society today. Kudos to all!!! [:D]

I am "my" best moderator, however. I decide what I will post, what I will read, and what offends me. Common sense, respect, and an open mind go a very long way.
