So I am not too familiar with the AC or electrical. I figured I'd ask around here.

Anyways, I have a 2000 V70R with AC that occasionally stops running. Doesn't seem to be related to how long the car has been on and it only happens every two weeks or so. The AC will cut out and just blow uncooled air for maybe 20 minutes before coming back on again. I have no idea what would cause this. Anyone have any insight?

Probably the a/c clutch getting worn out.  When it cuts out see if there is still power to the clutch but the clutch is not engaged.  We(the shop I work at) will either replace the compressor(not much more than just a clutch) or the guys pull it off and take shim out of the clutch/pulley.  Done this a couple of times.
