Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Visioneer Paperport 3000 Scanner

I have a problem with scanning pictures. Every time I scan them they are fine but most people do not have this software so I have to export them as JPG so everyone will be able to view them. The problem with this is that when I export them as JPG they get huge like as in 3 or 4 or 6mb big. Does anyone know how I can scan these and then export them as JPG for everyone to see without them being so huge?
