Regardless of the story. The trooper did not handle that very well from a personal security standpoint.

Times are changing I guess... We were always taught in the academy to never let anyone have anything in their hands while speaking with them.
I was never a state trooper, but a lot of them around here ask people to get out of their cars for every traffic stop. The ask them to sit in the passenger seat of the patrol car until they are done. I'm not sure if anyone has ever made a stink over it. |
