Exactly. Trying to be a Mustang? Heh.

If that's a 2016, that car is a wild-assed, rabid stallion. I love Mustangs, but there's just no comparison.

I see vertical videos are still a thing.
Link Posted: 4/19/2016 2:10:44 PM EDT
I had a 68 427 Corvette that could break the rear tires loose at 75mph. I'd done it multiple times and it never went sideways like that. It got squirrelly, but it wasn't instant and it wasn't that hard to keep it straight. My 67 390 Mustang could do it to when it was floored and the auto downshifted to 2nd. But that had much smaller tires than the Vette did.

Ahh the good ole days. Only the rt rear wheel spun.
Link Posted: 4/19/2016 2:21:22 PM EDT
I'm not sure what he did to cause that. Popped the clutch? Maybe CWO can chime in.

I was driving behind an 1100 hp Viper that could easily shred tires and 80 mph, I know because of all the bits of rubber bouncing off my car and the road, but he didn't waver a bit.

I've fishtailed a bit getting on it at 40, but again, nothing unexpected.

6/10 mustang impression. If he would have hit a crowd of people or at least side-swiped a parked truck it would have been perfect

That thing squirrelly under hard acceleration?

RWD is not for those that have limited knowledge of handling over steer children.

I learned like a MOFO in my first car 71 Mach 1 Mustang with a 4 speed.

I know the old 2nd gens you had to throttle through corners to get rear end grip. But not too much or the ass end would break loose.

It really is like taming a snake, React to slow and it kills you, Move to fast and it kills you.

I like them, but I'm crazy

Buddy has a GT500...2009? 2010? Dunno. Manual trans and that'll break em loose at highway speeds...

And I am no Mustang lover...

One of those crashes in the video is from a movie set. You can see Optimus Prime...

My first car was '94 Ford Escort.

I couldn't have learned anything about power with it even if I wanted to.

Yep, still getting used to my Hellcat Challenger.

After driving my neighbors HC I'm thinking about picking one up. Local dealer has 6 in stock and another dealer has a used 2015 with 250 miles and new tires, LOL.

I KNOW the ass end of my car will break loose if I really get on it. Therefore...

From videos I've seen...yes.

If you stab it in the right gear while doing 65, it's possible to break the rear loose.

I think phones should give you an electric shock if you try to take vertical video.

Do you hold your phone vertically while watching videos?

Oh we are playing that game?

I raise you a 91 Ranger Extended cab with 2.3 4 banger. Your engine in a 4000 pound truck...

Hit the bottom of the grapevine at 85mph and be lucky to be going 60mph by the top of the grade. Try to pass a soccer mom that refuses to pull to the right, lane when a passing lane on a two lane road opens up, only to have them barely press on the gas to deny you a pass...

Yeah I will take too much power any day of the week over not enough power. After 4 years of owning that shit box as a kid some 20 years ago I will never own an under powered car ever again.

Mustangs, like every substantial one ever made from 65-70, the three Cobra Rs from 93-00, the modern GT500s/Boss302s/GT350s....

Every year of Viper ACR.

And more Porsches and GT2/3s than I can count.

Then I would go model my life after Paul Newman.

My neighbor has one, that's what he keeps telling me.

He won't let me drive it even though I used to race shitty Mustangs.
