The sounds from the birds were crazy.

You have fire hydrant in your backyard?

Subscribed for later viewing.  Being on vacation in the mountains with no wifi kinda sucks.  I want to watch eclipse and hickory shampoo videos but I'm too cheap to do it at $10/gig.

A decommissioned one, yes. The dogs like to pee on it.

I was surprised by that too.

This is a pretty small town of 3700 people. I guess everyone gathered at the two parks which are both over 5 blocks away.

His dog has to piss on something, because he clearly is not pissing on that lawn.

Cool vid and nice landscaping.

Cool. Thanks for posting. In 2024 we will be about 2 hrs from the totality. I may have to close that day and take the kids (whichever ones are at home then ) and go see it. 2 hrs is not bad, I would not travel much further than that though. Sounds like from everyone that posted in the Eclipse thread it was pretty amazing to see.

I went to the eclipse and all I got was this lousy picture:

Nice video showing us losers what it was really like.

Cool video, thanks for sharing. Puts a different perspective on things with the sound.  It didn't get very dark in our area at all, and we were around 90 or 96, I've heard both.

So why weren't you out there shooting flaming arrows into the sky to reignite it?

I swear, some people just want the world to end.

Was that a lawn mower in the back ground??
It was more irritating than the Stonehenge Worshipers.

I'm not sure what that interference sound was. It is a really quiet area back there.

Thanks! We were supposed to have "96% occulsion". Didn't amount to squat.

Wife's friend did tell her she heard cicadas around 1pm.

Great video. Those birds were going nuts! I was at my buddy's farm east of KC and definitely saw some weirdness from the birds. A couple flocks came flying past, almost like they thought they were late getting into the trees for the night. The cows on the place across the street were making strange noises as well.

This was one of those experiences that I thought would be more hype than delivery, but it ended up blowing my mind. Now I'm really enjoying seeing all the pics and videos out there.

Great video, thanks for posting.
We only had 80% coverage here in WV. Watched it through a welding helmet.

The crickets started chirping loudly around 2:30pm.

All I could hear was the fucking airplanes. I shit you not, there was about ten of those cocksuckers up there circling around like they couldn't see the sun from anywhere else in the whole country.

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing.

Best photo I could get (in MI) with an eclipse filter app on my cell:

We have two airports nearby. Probably a dozen planes in the sky and a couple hot air balloons.
