FORT WORTH, Texas -- About 200 demonstrators protested on
Thursday outside a country club where actress and activist Jane Fonda
was scheduled to speak.
Many of the protesters were war veterans. Some wore military-style
clothing or caps.
Fonda has been the target of criticism over the past several decades
for her opposition to the Vietnam War and for posing overseas with
members of the opposition's military.
A number of demonstrators held signs today, with some saying: "I'll
