I went ahead and emailed each person in the list.
Here's a copy of what I sent: Hello,
Please consider voting no to S.55 that restricts magazine capacity. The shooter in Florida used 10 rounds capacity magazines to carry out the attack and this bill is in response to that. Since the magazine capacity had nothing to do with the crimes committed, passing such a restriction will do nothing to help VT citizens. |

It is a serious thing to conciser restricting the civil rights of so many law abiding citizens and potentially making criminals of many of them with the stroke of a pen. This bill is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist in Vermont. Please stand up for the rights of Vermont's historically law abiding citizens! Thank you, Keep up the fight! |
