Uknown liquids, vaporized at levels that no e-cig can get to, to create those toxins. That's how these tests usually go.

One of my guys just walked into the office with a gaping stick he built. The thing is MONSTER and he blows clouds like a Cheech and Chong movie!

If you set a cake on fire it'll put off lots of carcinogens, too.
But you're not supposed to set cake on fire, and it's impossible to do in normal cake use circumstances. Just like this test. |

This kind of reminds me of all the hype in the early 80's saying coffee caused cancer. I actually read the study in the late 80's and found that they had injected the rats with enough caffiene that an average person would have had to drink 1 million cups of coffee a day every day for the next 1000 years to get the level of caffiene in their bodies that those rats had. I don't know if vaping causes cancer, but since there's absolutely no link to any study methodology or results I'm skeptical at this point.

I suspect that this is like one of those "pot use causes brain damage" tests. Usually biased, lacking in control and includes circumstances that would rarely occur most of the time.

This is one of the reasons I don't do the ones like Blu e-cigs.
You don't know what they use in their liquids or the filler in the cartridge. I would bet that those carcinogens come from the filler burning when the liquid is gone. |
