Every time that happens be sure to reply all with the most inane response possible, like "thanks" or "yeah, I noticed that too!". When it devolves into a shit storm of "unsubscribe", "don't write me anymore", "use BCC you ass monkey", the original sender will generally find a clue. |

BCC is for copying someone when you don't want everyone else to know it. It's the people that are using reply all that are fucking up. |

My daughter's teacher sends out CC emails to parents.
That's bad enough, and I asked her to knock it off. Some of the stupid parents Reply All with personal matters that are meant for the teacher. ETA: I have formulated a new strategy (after reading the above replies) that is a slight divergence from the midget tranny porn subscriptions suggested above. I am going to Replay All with inappropriate advances toward her teacher next time. |

It is also for mailing large groups where email privacy concerns should be considered. A mass mailing from a school should never reveal Mrs Smith's email address to Mr Jones. So bcc or something that strips addresses other than the individual recipients should be used. |
